Jean Martin – Honorary V. P.

The Maidstone Singers are pleased to announce that Jeffrey Vaughan Martin’s wife, Jean, has accepted the position of Honorary Vice President of the choir. Jean has been tireless in helping with the organisation of the Singers as with all Jeffrey’s many and varied activities over the years. She has been a constant presence before, during and after the concerts without ever taking a bow.

At the concert in All Saints Church on Sunday 19th July 2016 Jean was presented with a plaque to commemorate the award by the Chair of The Maidstone Singers, Marilyn Scott. The choir is delighted to recognize her hard work and to know that the Martin family will continue to have a direct link to the choir in future.
